Both the trees and the shrubs in the backyard enhance the beauty of the garden in their own way. An important difference between trees and shrubs is that the tree grows like an umbrella on a single trunk. Shrubs grow from the ground with many shoots. Shrub trunks have the same height. The shrub needs to be pruned from time to time to give it the right shape. Special care must be taken when choosing shrubs for the garden. It has good flowering, stays green, maintains green by tolerating more or less heat and shade. Also some shrubs act as a fence so it is convenient to choose the right shrubs. Some shrubs can tolerate more sunlight while some shrubs can tolerate less and more sunlight.
There are two major types of shrubs: -
1. Evergreen shrubs
2. Leafy shrubs
1. Evergreen shrubs: - This type of shrub looks green all year round. This helps to keep the garden open. The garden is evergreen. This type of shrub does not grow.
2. Leafy shrubs: - The leaves of this type of shrub fall off. Also, some shrubs need to be pruned, which makes the garden look less green for some time. Over time, the shrubs get better. When this type of shrub leaves, the mulch is picked up. This also increases the labor, but if this mulch is left as it is, its peat produces good organic manure. It also improves the growth of plants.
The kitchen garden can be built for many reasons. In some places, as a hobby, due to the large space, it is used for its proper use. Different growth methods are used in planting shrubs. It includes pressure section, cut section, gutty section etc. Shrub planting is mainly done in winter. Shrubs grow well even when water is scarce during this period.
Some important shrubs in the backyard: -
Medicinal herbs: - Tulas, Gulvel, Ram Tulas, Kapoor Tulas, Adulsa, Brahmi, Vekhand, Peppermint, Nirgudi, Akkalkadha etc. These medicinal plants are called medicinal shrubs. Which can be easily planted in the garden.
Aromatic shrubs: - Aromatic shrubs like Sonchafa, Ratarani, Mogra, Geranium, Mendi, Hirva Chafa, Parijatak etc. are widely planted in the garden.
Ornamental shrubs: - Jaswant, Tagar, Sadafuli, Krishna Kamal, Gulbas, Glory Lily, Xenia, Gokarni, Golden Rod, Kanher, Bougainvillea, Peacock, Aboli, Bottle Brush, Shankasur, Chitrak, Nivdung etc. are some of the important ornamental shrubs. Looks adorable.
